At Brilliant Ideas, we invent and manufacture safety products for the construction industry.
They’re widely used by main contractors, house builders, structural frame contractors (steel, concrete and timber), crane hire companies, lifting specialists and health and safety professionals – among others.
The inventions have all been developed by Chris Massey; he’s an entrepreneur and Managing Director of Brilliant Ideas and our sister company Beresford’s Flooring – a pre-cast concrete flooring installation specialist.
The inspiration for Brilliant Ideas, stems from Chris’s time ‘working on site’ at Beresford’s Flooring in his twenties. His understanding and experience of work practices on a construction site meant that whenever he was on a challenging job, he was able to come up with a better way of doing it – which was safer, faster and much more economical.
Beresford’s Flooring Ltd was founded in 1967. Chris joined the business in 1992 – before taking control eight years later, in 2000. In the same year, he formed Brilliant Ideas Ltd, as a sister company, and has never looked back.
